Content Marketing and Social Impact

Theme: Content | Branding | Websites

When I started creating content around anti-oppression on LinkedIn, I had specifically trained and was working as a Global Project Manager - Content and Digital at Wunderman Thompson, now VML, with clients like Nokia, KONE, Dell Technologies, etc. My anti-oppression content remained focused on societal, organisational and global issues because I had first-hand experience with racism and neo/colonialism which are embedded in our thoughts, education, systems, organisational culture and communications globally. These topics are important in all organisational and business spaces because people of different identities, beliefs, dimensions and intersectional experiences exist within them.

As a content creator, I have felt empowered and built my brand by not limiting myself to being one thing only. It is up to me to create the narrative and space that fit me, my career and personal goals best. I have only sought permission from myself and left the rest to the world. I established Crest Impact because entrepreneurship felt right for me and even though I was scared, it was not enough to deter me! Over the last 2,5 years, I have built services that reach international clients by curating learning experiences that suit different people in different industries and stages of personal and career growth. My clients include EY, Unity, The Big Picture, Next Games, A Netflix Game Studio, various universities, etc.

I have seen many leaders and founders struggle to publish content on social media on a consistent basis. Some promote their work through powerful periodic posts, events and interviews without building websites and stories that effectively match their energy and goals. Others still have ghosts for cover pictures on LinkedIn and consequently failed to build the eagerness needed to look further and learn more about them. I would like to change this for you! A confident digital identity and follow-up stories will be your ticket to opening those international doors and partnerships!
